More robust LED ink for direct-to-shape
A global printer of short-run aluminium cans was experiencing inconsistent quality and performance of inks from their original supplier. They asked Fujifilm to create a reliable ink that matched the physical properties of the existing one, and in addition incorporated a range of regulatory standards. Through a Project-Based Ink Development, with open communication to enable rapid technical progress, Fujifilm delivered a safer, and more robust ink formulation, precisely to specification and fully validated for seamless transition to production.

Custom aqueous ink for high-speed décor
A flooring manufacturer digitizing print production required a custom ink for a bespoke high-speed single-pass system. Through a Project-Based Ink Development, Fujifilm delivered a fully validated production ink set with dedicated colours for high-quality image reproduction of natural materials. The ink was lightfast and fully compatible with the melamine lamination process for production of a durable flooring product. Fujifilm also supported the customer with expert guidance in implementation of the inkjet process.
