In March 2021 we announced the expansion of our RxD pigment dispersion manufacturing capability, with an investment in a new plant in the USA. RxD pigment dispersions are a core technology colorant for high performance aqueous inkjet which we supply to ink formulators and use in many of our own aqueous ink systems.
The new USA plant will complement our existing RxD pigment dispersion facility in the UK. It is part of our commitment to ensure we can meet increasing market demand in new applications for aqueous inkjet inks and continue to support our global customer base.

The new RxD dispersion plant gives our USA site full capability in aqueous inkjet ink production, which enables it to streamline manufacturing. Construction is planned for completion in 2022.
